The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
For purposes of this STARS report, the institutional boundary considered includes all facilities indicated on main campus map, with the exception of the Mānoa Innovation Center and Faculty Housing apartments (denoted in black). Additional UHM facilities located off-site from the main campus are excluded from this STARS report (e.g. John A. Burns School of Medicine, Lyon Arboretum, Waikiki Aquarium, CTAHR extension stations, etc.).
