The UH Mānoa Sustainability Council (UHMSC) provides a monthly newsletter and forum for communication between students, faculty, and staff regarding campus sustainability projects, events, and initiatives. The Campus Arboretum has more than 6000 plants in over 700 species and serves as a gateway to introduce people to the remarkable qualities of trees. Each tree is labeled and additional information about each plant is available and accessible through the university’s online Plant Finder. The map can be used to identify the plants on campus and to search for plants using any of the following filters: Family; Genus; Binomial Nomenclature; Vernacular; Plant Habit; IUCN Red List Status; Canoe Plant; City & County Exceptional Tree; Lei Plant; Medicinal Plant; Comestible Plant; Lignin. http://manoa.hawaii.edu/landscaping/plants/index.php

The Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge offers a campus walk that orients participants to UH Mānoa through a Hawaiian lens. The tour invites participants to learn about the history of Mānoa and Hawaiian places of learning.
