Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Redefining Child Care
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Sustainability is as much about today as it is about tomorrow. That's why it makes sense for the Child Care and Learning Centre (CCLC) on campus to care not just for kids, but also for the environment they will inherit. The CCLC introduced a 100% plant-based menu, intended to help lessen environmental impacts of food production. If children are our future, then the CCLC is redefining "care" to include stewardship of their wider world.
