The University of Guelph is proud to partner with THE SEED to support the organization in their mission to:
- deliver food programs that build food literacy and increase access to good food;
- Operating social enterprises that increase good food access, train and employ youth, and generate revenue that is re-invested in achieving our Mission/Vision;
- Working with community members and partner organizations to make good things happen;
-Advocating for systems-change and effective food policies.
The University supports the SEED through a range of program and initiatives, including research through the Arell Food Institute, redistributing surplus food through the Emergency Food Home Delivery Program, and connecting student volunteers to support programs and services offered by The SEED.
