A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
One of the objectives of Orientation Week is to provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful, sustainable contributions to the welfare of others emphasizing caring and respectful behavior. Students will start to explore their individual effect on the various communities that make up the University of Guelph. Furthermore, all orientation week events are sustainable with a focus on helping participants learn about sustainability on campus.
