Sustainability Office Peer Helpers
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Non-paid leadership opportunities for University of Guelph students. This program provides students with an opportunity to work alongside departments like the Sustainability Office, to gain access to leadership experience, professional development and experiential learning.
A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (1st program):
The Sustainability Office Peer Helpers assist in running the Sustainability Ambassador and Green Team programs. These programs' targets audience are all undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Guelph. These students provide training and support for outreach and event planning/management. These students are also tasked with running and attending events on and off campus, on behalf of the Sustainability Office to promote campus sustainability and involvement. These students also assist with generating social media content and monitoring the outreach email.
