Student Care & Outreach: A department of UGA Student Affairs that assists students with University Hardship Withdrawals, advocates for students experiencing difficult circumstances and support faculty who are working with these students, provides outreach initiatives to promote a safer, healthier, and more successful campus community, and more.

UGA Work / Life Balance: For concerns ranging from workplace stress to caring for a young child or other family members, UGA Work Life Balance provides UGA employees with a wide variety of resources to help integrate work and life responsibilities.

Be Well UGA: Free wellness and prevention classes hosted by the University Health Center. Check out all the amazing classes and services geared towards helping UGA students thrive physically, mentally, and socially.

UGA Extras offers optional discounts, services, and voluntary benefit plans for UGA employees and students. Some of the services include fitness clubs, health and wellness products, smoking cessation program, and weight management.

UGA Wellness Program conducted by College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy students conduct wellness sessions to provide complete medical history of each patient, discuss ways to better manage patients' conditions and help them learn more about how their medications work. Patients receive physical assessments and point-of-care laboratory values. Educational materials are provided and regular one-on-one meetings are designed to encourage healthier lifestyles.

UGA Health Center Healthy Dawg Program: Provides tips and resources for emotional, intellectual, physical, environmental, social and spiritual health for UGA students, faculty and staff. https://ugahealthydawg.com

Multicultural Services & Programs: Works to create an inclusive campus environment by supporting the development and affirming the overall experiences of all students, particularly multicultural students.

LGBT Resource Center: Offers a space in which all members of the University of Georgia community can engage and explore issues associated with sexual and gender identities. Programs and resources include the “Safe Space” training program, LGBTQRC Library, student lounge, and more.

6.10 Tobacco and Smoke-Free Campuses
The University System of Georgia (USG) is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and amicable environment for all students, employees, and persons visiting USG campuses. This policy applies to all persons who enter USG Properties. Violation of this policy may result in corrective action under student conduct or human resource policies and visitors refusing to comply may be asked to leave campus. Signage to help inform the campus communities and visitors of these prohibitions should be placed throughout campus.

6.10.1 Definitions
“USG Properties” is defined as property owned, leased, rented, in the possession of, or in any way used by the USG or its affiliates, including all areas indoors and outdoors, buildings, and parking lots.
“Tobacco Products” is defined as cigarettes, cigars, pipes, all forms of smokeless tobacco, clove cigarettes, and any other smoking devices that use tobacco, such as hookahs, or simulate the use of tobacco, such as electronic cigarettes.

6.10.2 Prohibition of Tobacco Products
In accordance with the Georgia Smoke Free Air Act of 2005, the use of all forms of Tobacco Products on USG Properties is expressly prohibited. Further, the advertising, sale, or free sampling of Tobacco Products on USG Properties is prohibited unless specifically stated for research purposes. All events hosted by a USG entity and by outside groups on behalf of the USG shall be tobacco-free.
