A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:
Drawn from the Student Green Fee, grants up to $5,000 are available to current UGA students who wish to initiate projects that advance sustainability through education, research, service, and campus operations. Successful projects will address UGA's strategic priorities and integrate social, environmental, and economic solutions to help ensure that all people can thrive, both now and in the future. Grants are awarded based on merit, positive impact, implementation feasibility, and available funding.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:
The selection committee is comprised of students, faculty and Office of Sustainability staff. These stakeholders judge grant applications and make their individual assessments. Then, the committee collectively makes final recommendations for projects to receive funding. The Office of Sustainability officially notifies accepted applicants through direct contact and a public announcement.
