A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Sustainability information is incorporated into the UGA Human Resources Onboarding Toolkit provided to all new employees upon arrival at UGA.
Sustainability is also incorporated into New to F&A Day programming through tours that highlight sustainable design features on campus as well as opportunities for new staff to learn about best practices in sustainability at UGA such as recycling and commuting through alternative modes of transportation.
New to FMD Day is offered twice a year to new Facilities Management Division employees. This program specifically highlights the Office of Sustainability and opportunities for FMD employees to contribute to a culture of sustainability at UGA.
