Date provided by UGA Parking Services. This is the percentage of students who do not purchase a parking permit. Students who do not purchase a parking permit are assumed to utilize alternative modes of transportation for their commute to campus (i.e. walk, bike, bus, carpool).

Approximately 22,039 students out of 36,130 students in FY15 commute using sustainable commuting options (based on information provided by UGA Parking Services based on average monthly parking permits in FY15). Note: 61% of students do not purchase on-campus parking permits. We are not certain how many commute specifically via non-motorized means, carpool, public transportation, or motorcycle / scooter.
