Optional Fields
The University's fleet is constantly seeking out new technology that will lessen our environmental footprint and increase advancement in alternative fuel forces to lessen our dependency on fossil fuels. Examples include the use of electric vehicles and efficient, low-speed vehicles for on-campus operations. UGA is currently in the procurement process to convert 1/3 of its Campus Transit buses (approximately 20 buses) to all-electric vehicles. UGA currently offers six publicly available electric vehicle charging stations strategically located in high use campus parking decks.
