Waterless urinals are installed in UGA Housing Building 1516, UGA Vehicle Transportation and Maintenance facilities, among others. Additionally, UGA has installed composting toilets in the University Club Sports complex.

In years past, UGA implemented a pilot program in the Zell B. Miller Learning Center, a high-trafficked student use facility, to use waterless urinals. This program now remains in select locations around campus; however, the pilot program was not successful enough to warrant implementation around the entire UGA campus.
