A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
We searched University and State resources that collect active and published research from UF. For this submission, we used: https://ufl.discovery.academicanalytics.com/
This is a 3rd party product used by Provost, Institutional Planning and Research, and Deans that requires log-in with Staff UFID
We searched each term individually and pulled results, prioritizing:
o Name of PIs
o Year published
o Title of work
We read through individual titles to check if they apply to the AASHE STARS definition of "Sustainability Research", then identified affiliated departments for faculty.
