A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years:

UF has hosted the Prairie Project Workshop for curriculum development training for faculty and advanced graduate students since 2010. In addition to members of the UF community, the workshop also includes faculty from Santa Fe College which is also located in Gainesville. Initially participants received a direct monetary stipend for participation and subsequent implementation of a course with sustainability content. After the first year stipends were not provided. This past year a book stipend was reintroduced as an incentive for participants.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

Faculty members receive a stipend for attending the workshop, and additional funds to use during the next school year to implement sustainability within a course or sharing their experience with colleagues in their college or departments.
