A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Office of Multicultural and Diversity Affairs offers a wide range of programs and trainings to UF students throughout the year. Core programs help increase understanding and appreciation of at least one of four MCDA principles: Community, Cultural Awareness, Leadership, and Social Justice.
The Institute of Hispanic Latino Cultures, Asian Pacific American Affairs, the Institute of Black Culture, LGBT Affairs, and the Office of Intercultural and Social Justice Programming help facilitate cultural competence and acceptance on campus.
