The University of Denver is the oldest private research in the Rocky Mountain region and is committed to engaging with students in advancing scholarly inquiry, cultivating critical and creative thought, and generating knowledge. As part of our strategic vision, DU IMPACT 2025, the University strives to educate the 21st-century citizens and leaders needed in its organizations and communities all while maintaining our mission to be a great, private University dedicated to the public good. We do this through five strategic imperatives; to ensure a sustainable future, to create a holistic '4D' student experience, to cultivate a diverse inclusive experience, to define and model a global engaged research university, and to ensure academic excellence.

The University owns several properties off campus, including Greek houses, single-family homes, and apartments. The individual renters of these properties pay the utilities directly, not through the University.
The University has several remote locations - the Echo lake Station, Chamberlain Observatory, and Mt. Evans Observatory - that were not included because of unavailability of utility information.
