A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

The mission of the Health and Counselling Center is to provide exceptional, inclusive, integrated health care. We promote student success and wellness through education, advocacy and outreach to the University of Denver community. The vision of the well@du program is to create a culture of wellness at the University of Denver. The well@du program is focused on proactive and preventative employee health aimed at enhancing individual and community well-being while mitigating health care costs.

In addition, the Health & Counseling Center runs a Wellness Wednesday program every month. The staff of the center present important education workshops designed to help students, faculty, and staff with important psychological issues. These workshops are open to all students, faculty, and staff free of charge.
