The university participates in Bring Your Green, a regional initiative for driving energy savings and sustainability. BYG uses a benchmarking tool that is functionally similar to Portfolio Manager and the program is coordinated through the Dayton Regional Green group, which holds the university accountable.

All of our buildings are on our energy management and building automation system, including submeters for obtaining interval electricity data. Our energy management group in Facilities uses this information in efficiency projects like our Green Revolving Fund. We also have a building energy dashboard that is publicly accessible and displays real-time energy data.
