A brief description of the institution's initiatives to replace plumbing fixtures, fittings, appliances, equipment, and systems with water-efficient alternatives (e.g. building retrofits):
Over the last few years the university has replaced plumbing and steam equipment that was likely a significant source of leaks. This year, we installed low-flow shower heads in dorms and houses. This was a student-initiated and student-led project that resulted in a green revolving fund proposal, which ultimately funded the project.
