Yes

A brief description of the institution’s Fair Trade initiatives, including the year formal designation was achieved and/or renewed:
The University of Dayton received Fair Trade Designation by Fair Trade Campaigns in the Spring of 2016. This was achieved after the signing of a Fair Trade Resolution on May 16, 2016. The initiatives include offering fair trade products throughout campus, the creation of the University Working Group on Fair and Ethical Sourcing to implement fair trade strategies, serving fair trade products at campus events, and committing to fair trade education. Fair trade goods are sold in the university bookstore and other retail outlets. Dining halls throughout campus offer fair trade goods for sale, including tea, coffee, and chocolate. Fair trade language is used in the supplier code of conduct to continue to promote and increase the presence of ethically sourced goods at the university. The university also supports fair trade initiatives in the community by hosting a fair trade/ethical trade sale on campus in December.
