A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Every new employee receives information about sustainability initiatives, policies, guidelines and achievements with their new employee packets. In addition, they receive suggestions for how to participate in sustainability efforts on campus and in the Dayton community. The packet includes links to bike rack and bus stop locations, campus compost and recycling education, peer mentorship opportunities, CSA and Farmers market information, maps/events for local metro-parks, local restaurant and shops, urban garden volunteer opportunities, etc.
