Wellness & Prevention Services offers Health Education and Alcohol & Other Drugs Education for students. From their website: "Our goal is to promote and help students achieve a balance of lifelong physical, emotional, social, environmental, intellectual, spiritual and cultural well-being through various services."
Counseling & Mental Health Services offers many clinical services to students, including: Triage and Assessment (both routine and emergancy), Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Psychiatric Services, Alcohol and other Drugs Services, a Weekly Workshop Series, and Consultation.
The Employee Assistance Program is available to all UConn faculty and staff, as well as some family members. Professional assessment, counseling, and refferal are offered for many personal issues, including job stress, anxiety/depression, alcohol and substance abuse, and family concerns.
