Welcome to the Office of Diversity and Equity This Office is responsible for diversity and equity compliance initiatives and programs that encompass all UConn schools and campuses. We provide support and advice to all University offices on recruitment and retention issues, sexual harassment prevention training, diversity, discrimination and harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Title IX. Although ODE has been charged with ensuring the University's compliance to federal, state, and local affirmative action and equal opportunity laws, providing affirmative action and equal opportunity is the shared responsibility of the entire University community.
