A brief description of the program(s), (s), including availability, participation levels, and specifics about discounts or subsidies offered (including pre-tax options):
The University runs a campus shuttle program, which includes as many as 5 on-campus lines and a sixth line that goes to many off campus apartment complexes. Mass transit is free of charge and very user-friendly, and it has increased student, staff, and faculty participation levels by recently revamping routes to shorten wait and passengers times. UConn transportation services provides up to date shuttle bus information in various mobile formats for compatibility with the majority of mobile devices. The official UConn Transportation Services mobile website provides UConn’s bus schedules and live shuttle location information (bus.uconn.edu/m). Finally, stop codes for UConn buildings can be used to find the bus schedules for particular locations on this site as well.

Students, staff, and faculty can also ride local bus lines from the Windham Regional Transit District (WRTD) for free.
