Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Emissions and population data are for the Storrs main campus & Depot Campus only.
* Scope 1 and 2 gross GHG emissions, performance year:
For the Cogen section all fuel based on turbine and duct burner use only CUP boilers and are included in the “other stationary sources” section, NOT in the cogen section. Other Stationary sources include distillate oil (only #2), both heating and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. The NG total includes: NG fuel billing records for all other boilers/heaters, CUP Chiller, CUP Boilers and South Campus Chiller NG use based on fuel meter data. For the Depot Campus the natural gas used is based on all CNG accounts assigned to Depot, NOT fuel cell NG Conversion from cubic feet of NG to MMBtu, multiply cu ft by 0.001020. The LPG total represents the gas used in emergency engines only and is calculated based on run hours at max load.
