Does the institution administer a graduation pledge through which students pledge to consider social and environmental responsibility in future job and other decisions?:
Yes
A brief description of the graduation pledge program:
“I pledge to consider the social and environmental consequences of choices I make in my personal life and work, and will act with integrity in my workplace and community.”
The pledge is voluntary and part of the graduation registration site below. As graduate candidates complete the registration process it will present the graduation pledge and an optional check box. This voluntary pledge allows people to determine for themselves what they consider to be environmentally and socially responsible. Graduates are not required to check it, but a significant number of them have done so for May 2012 graduation:
Denver Campus:
1179 graduates accepted the pledge out of 1246 registrants
Anschutz Medical Campus:
527 graduates accepted out of 559 total registrants
