A brief description of notable policies or programs to support non-traditional students:
UCCS has greatly expanded the available online programs in the past several years: https://connect.uccs.edu/find-programs. In addition, the number of Certificate Programs (both online and in person) available to students has expanded (https://ir.uccs.edu/institutionaldata/programs) to provide a wide variety of options for non-traditional students. All support services, policies, and programs are intended to assist all UCCS students, regardless of program/course modality. An increase in scholarships available to military and veterans, tuition assistance for active duty military members, and increased outreach to encourage high school concurrent enrollment opportunities are also providing support for those non-traditional student populations. More information regarding the scholarships available may be found here: https://finaid.uccs.edu/types-of-aid/scholarships
