A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
The UCCS Office of Sustainability and Parking and Transportation Services disseminated the 2024 Transportation Survey to students via email for two weeks in January and February of 2024. The total number of student responses for the survey was 948, representing 9.96% of the student population. UCCS removed four student responses for listing two or more modes of transportation under the "other" option for the primary mode question.

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
The UCCS Office of Sustainability and Parking and Transportation Services disseminated the 2024 Transportation Survey to faculty and staff via email for two weeks in January and February of 2024. The total response rate for the faculty and staff was 372, which represents 22.8% of these two populations. No responses for the primary mode question were removed from this group.
