A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:
The Office of Sustainability Newsletter is emailed to students, faculty, staff, and community members at the beginning of each month every semester. This recaps recent UCCS events, programs, initiatives, and other news incorporating sustainability on campus and in the community.

Additionally, the Office of Sustainability manages Instagram (@uccs_sustainability), Facebook (UCCS Office of Sustainability), and YouTube (UCCS Sustainability) as forms of social media. Before we updated the Orientation video, from April to September 2020, it had over 1,700 views, reaching most of our incoming freshmen and their families.

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Majority of the LEED certified buildings have posters, signs, and brochures that highlight and explain green or LEED features. Some buildings also have LCD screens in the lobbies with LEED information, features, and real-time energy and renewable energy data. The Osborne Science & Engineering building has a self-guided 23-point tour of green features in the building.

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
UCCS has an interactive, sustainability walking map for a self-guided tour. Numerous features include past student projects funded by the Green Action Fund, a student fee directed by students.
The Office of Sustainability also provides sustainability talking points and locations for the general campus tours that are given daily.

Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
Residence Life & Housing and the Office of Sustainability created the Sustainable On-Campus Living website. It highlights sustainable features in their residential halls and tips to adopt more sustainable lifestyle habits.
