The Compass Curriculum General Education Sustainability Committee supports the creation of new Sustainability Focused or Sustainability Inclusive courses through an application and training process.
A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
In addition to support and training for academic staff to create sustainability curricula across disciplines, there is optimism for the return of monetary grant awards for academics to assist them, pending funding that was discontinued during COVID-19. Grants tend to follow after the STARS assessment period as we identify areas for improvement and funding becomes available.
