A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

A list of keywords were compiled using the STARS definition of 'sustainability research,' which was then used to search in the University's Institutional Research online database called Digital Measures (DM.) Faculty are required to submit their research to DM. As a follow-up method, a staff member from the Office of Sustainability reviewed CVs from faculty websites to find the additional publications that were not uploaded. Revisions were made to create the final list attached. We believe that together these methods allowed us to uncover close to all of the sustainability-related research and other projects on the campus in our 2021 submission.

The attached Excel spreadsheet is data pulled from DM and pulled from individual faculty CVs for 2018-present.
The total number of departments is different than AC 1, since this incorporates departments that have faculty conducting research and do not offer courses.
