A brief description of the program:
Articles were included in the housing newsletters for incoming students regarding items to bring and more importantly not bring, opportunities for sharing, Energy Star appliances, and encouragement for recycling all waste generated on the day of move-in. All students moving in were given reusable water bottles as well as a large reusable grocery bag. Sustainability staff and RA's were available to help move students and point them to the extra recycle bins ordered for the day.
