6.3 Community partnership assessment

Does the institution have published guidelines for creating and maintaining community partnerships that are reciprocal and mutually beneficial?:
Yes

Publication that includes the community partnership guidelines:
Online resource that includes the institution’s community partnership guidelines:
---

Are all of the institution’s community partnerships for sustainability subject to an assessment process that includes joint evaluation by the institution and its community partners?:
No

Description of the institution’s approach to community partnership assessment and how the results are used to improve reciprocity and mutual benefit:

Outreach and Engagement activities at the University of Colorado Boulder reside in home departments, schools, colleges and institutes. Although resources and support are available to all of these programs, the university does not have published guidelines for creating and maintaining reciprocal and mutually beneficial community partnerships that have been established for the entire campus and do not require an assessment process that includes joint evaluation by the institution and its community partners. The Office for Outreach and Engagement does provide trainings and consultations about developing partnerships in order to support best practices. The office also requests evaluation results from grant recipients, but the scopes and approaches to evaluation are determined by the grant recipients and their community partners, not the Office for Outreach and Engagement.
