2023 Campus sustainability survey was administered to a representative sample of all employees. Office of Data Analytics produced a stratified sample of faculty and staff employees. The survey was sent out to the sample (n=2,003), with an 46% response rate for culture questions (n=926). The question "How frequently do you engage in sustainability-themed events and programs on campus and in your community (in person or virtual)?" received responses of 76% rarely; 20% sometimes (1-2x semester); 4% often (monthly or more frequently). For this response, we are only counting sometimes and often at 24%. While the question does include community participation, we are confident in the campus participation being in the range of 10-24%.
