1st program
Green Office Program
A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Green Office Program offered through the University's Environmental Center, helps to educate staff who wish to make their work spaces more sustainable. The program trains on sustainable purchasing, sustainable transportation options, and energy, water, and waste reduction strategies. Once an office has been certified, it is the duty of the sustainability liaison(s) within each certified office to train new staff and keep existing staff up to date on best office practices.

Green Labs Lab Eco-Leader Program
A brief description of the employee educators program (2nd program):
Engage laboratory scientists to volunteer to promote environmental sustainability in their laboratory by taking action to help minimize the use of energy, water, material goods, and hazardous chemicals in their lab and encouraging their fellow lab members to participate in programs offered by the CU Green Labs Program such as contests and established lab-specific recycling opportunities.

Additional Programs
Facilities Management Environmental Services Outreach Program Manager conducts trainings with Facilities Management staff and Building Proctors who receive a one hour sustainabiility training annually. On an on-going basis each proctor can support questions and point employees to relevent resources for sustainabilitty programs.
