Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Note: ENVS offers a broad, but rigorous, interdisciplinary education. Both the undergraduate and graduate degrees draw on courses and expertise from more than thirty participating departments, centers, and other units on campus, emphasizing the earth and natural sciences as well as the social sciences and humanities. This is consistent with CU's approach to sustainability--that of a interdisciplinary education that trains in systems thinking and all sustainability elements.

Note that all ENVS faculty are interdisciplinary--cross rostered in other departments thus assuring a well rounded sustainability education. Several, for instance, are cross rostered in ECON, and all students must choose from required ECON courses such as:
Introductory and Intermediate Values
ECON 1000-4 Introduction to Economics or
ECON 2010-4 Principles of Microeconomics
ECON 3535-3 Natural Resource Economics or
ECON 3545-3 Environmental Economics
