A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:

UC's Sustainability office and UC's employee wellness program ("Be Well UC"), hosts quarterly events every year, which include Invest in Yourself in February, Live Happy Be Well in May, Be the Change in September, and the Benefits and Wellness fair in November. At each event, educational sessions, presentations and activities are provided by University and local partners. UC sustainability has a continued presence at these events each year as a result of the partnership with the employee wellness program. Beginning in the fall of 2019 UC staff and faculty can earn points for attending any UC sustainability event. See https://www.uc.edu/hr/bewelluc.html

UC's Department of Planning, Design, and Construction supports it's employees continuing education by covering the costs of LEED training courses.
