A brief description of how multiple stakeholder groups were involved in developing the plan:
The UC2019► plan reflects the consultation of many people. This plan took shape through extensive discussions with UC’s vast array of stakeholders, including our Board of Trustees, President’s Cabinet, deans, faculty, students, staff, alumni, donors and friends of the university. The Climate Action Plan included contributions from many individuals and offices on campus and was compiled and written by the President's Advisory Council on Environment & Sustainability (PACES). Over 100 individuals, including faculty members, students, and staff, contributed to the CAP.

A brief description of the plan’s measurable goals :
Both the President's 2019 plan and the Climate Action Plan include measurable sustainability goals. They include reducing carbon footprint, increasing waste diversion, increasing sustainability outreach, increasing diversity and global engagement, and increasing service learning and volunteer opportunities and participation by measurable amounts. Actual metrics vary for each category.
