A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:
A composting program at one of our dining centers began in the Fall of 2013. Staff sorts both pre-consumer and post-consumer food waste for composting, and it is hauled to a commercial composting facility. The program includes one dining center, MarketPointe Dining Center, as well as the used coffee grounds from campus Cafe's and Starbucks on campus.
