The College of Graduate Studies will provide annual support up to $1,500/year for article processing charges (APCs) for current and recent (within one year of graduation or employment) graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
The UCF Libraries have several ”Read & Publish” agreements with major publishers that cover the APC for UCF authors. UCF authors can publish in Cambridge University Press, the Company of Biologists, IOP Publishing, and the Portland Press all at no cost. (https://guides.ucf.edu/OA/articlecharges)

A brief description of the open access journal hosting services:
STARS, our institutional repository, does provide open access journal hosting services. Content is hosted externally by bepress on the Digital Commons platform. The Digital Commons subscription covers hosting services as well as staff who provide support and training. The UCF Libraries manages this process and service and provides some services as well at no additional cost.
