UCF "Green Building Construction Requirements" goes above and beyond the Florida Statue 255.2575 Energy-efficient and sustainable buildings by adhering to the latest version of USGBC LEED (V4) Gold Certification.

Green Building Construction and Renovation Requirements developed by UCF is required for all projects. The President Climate Action Plan identify solid goals to enforce; The Energy Sustainability Policy 3-111.1 appoints the Department of Utilities & Energy Services as the point of contact and liaison for all utilities and energy conservation measures.
