The Sustainability Initiatives office hosts a central sustainability website that serves as an informational resource for students, faculty, and staff. It organizes current sustainability-related organizations including advisory committees and student groups. It features a monthly sustainability spotlight of a faculty member, administration member, or student who characterizes sustainable motives in their actions and/or curriculum. It features a Student Portal that serves as a one-stop shop for current related course offerings, upcoming events, active student groups, and practical educational resources. Other components include news stories of related campus improvements and events, social media connections, and access to the Climate Action Plan.

A bi-monthly sustainability newsletter, in partnership with the Department of Housing and Residence Life, is sent out via e-mail to all campus residents that follows a theme to reoccur with new material each year (i.e. - June/July issue follows water, September/October follows energy, etc.). This newsletter is interactive, in that it allows users to click each feature - photo, video, gif - that will link them to the related resource.

A brief description of the social media platforms that focus on sustainability:
Sustainability Initiatives hold its own social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and regular e-mail blasts of announcements and opportunities. Each of these platforms serves as similar, but separately distinct, purpose. The Facebook page posts university and internationally related news and advertises campus and local events to attend. The Instagram page engages through related visuals and live photo updates of events.

Cyclists can access the Bicycle Guide covering safety and conduct from the Parking and Transportation service. The UCF Mobile app can be utilized to locate bike racks as a list or on a map to make parking easily accessible. They can also access the SGA Bike Share program that also covers policies, safety, and other campus resources.

Sustainability Initiatives provides students a green room certification resource that lists ways to reduce unsustainable practices in the residential experience. The guide has an aerial view of the typical dorm room with tips on how to live "greener" within. In addition to this, residents are given additional resources during the annual Kill-A-Watt Energy Conservation Competition.
