These courses were determined by searching through both the graduate and undergraduate course description lists. Course descriptions that included key words or phrases pertaining to the topic of sustainability were included. These keywords and phrases include, but are not limited to "sustainability", "conservation", "energy", "land planning", "efficiency", "ecology" and "sustainable construction and systems". These were further refined to meet the parameters of the credit. Descriptions that specified topics relating to themes such as the environment, the earth, and natural resources were also included in the course inventory.
