A 250KW system was installed on the McHenry Library roof in Dec. 2013. This system generates approximately 20,000 kWh/month.

UC system's Wholesale Power Procurement: UCSC catalyzed, with other UC campuses, the installation of a 60MW PV Array in Fresno County, CA. The total generation of this system was 132,272 MWh, and the UCSC portion of that generation is 6.8%, or 8,934 MWh, which is equal to 30460.568 MMBtu. Note: the 2018 December meter reading was not in at time of reporting so that month was estimated.
