A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
Each of the 5 Divisional Deans sent a survey out to their Division's faculty and staff. The survey included the definition of sustainability research and faculty and staff were asked to identify individuals who engage in sustainability research from their Division. The survey was then supplemented by a review of faculty websites, as well as sustainability research-related campus news releases, in order to identify additional sustainability researchers. The Office of Research provided the number of faculty/staff engaged in research.
