A brief description of the program, including examples of peer-to-peer outreach activities:

The HCN crew, a group of staff and faculty from departments throughout campus volunteer to support their colleagues to live healthier lifestyles. The HCN achieves this by sharing information about new resources, workshops, and opportunities to engage in wellness programming on campus. Crew members must attend one hour-long meeting per quarter to learn about campus wellness programs and organize one team building activity per quarter around health and wellness. Furthermore, members are expected to forward announcements about the HCN programs and to encourage colleagues to participate in campus-wide wellness campaigns.

The Healthy Campus Network Crew is a volunteer opportunity and all staff that are interested are encouraged to participate, alongside their department.

A meeting is held once a quarter where crew members gather and are given a physical copy of all of the resources there are available to staff and faculty. Also, the meetings will have speakers relevant to the ongoing programs and events.
