Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) has long been a leader in the advancement of environmental issues, education, and research. The University records its greenhouse gas emissions in a document entitled the "Climate Action Plan" (CAP or “Plan”) for UCSB.  The purpose of the CAP is to provide a guideline to achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions as prescribed by the State of California, the University of California, and the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment. This CAP is a living document that was started in 2009. The CAP was updated in 2010 and will now be updated biennially to ensure that UCSB meets its goals and addresses evolving climate issues.
