A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):
UCSB meets the criteria for this credit insofar as there are fifty spaces for incoming students who want the option of participating in an Environmental Living-Learning Community. This residence floor brings together environmentally conscious students who would like to become active members of environmental activism on campus and in the community. Although specific emphasis is not placed on sustainability in the description of the residential community’s purpose, students living on this floor work to include sustainability in their residential lifestyles.
