Our three hospitals operate under one license with a current combined capacity of 870 beds: UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest (390 beds) and East Campus La Jolla(Jacobs Medical Center and Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center) with 480. We exclude the Hillcrest campus bed count as it is outside the bounds of this reporting. La Jolla Health System numbers are included in the WCU for water credits. Hillcrest and La Jolla numbers are included in the WCU used for greenhouse gas emissions credits since that is how we report our emissions inventory to CARB.
