The Sustainability Programs Office publishes an e-newsletter featuring campus sustainability news, initiatives, resources, sustainability champions and events. (https://us9.campaign-archive.com/home/?u=b84375c25ee14ab8228d800cc&id=f3f935b313) The newsletter helps students, staff, faculty, and the community to get involved in sustainable events and implement sustainable practices to their own everyday lives. There are over 2,000 subscribers. We have a separate e-newsletter for anyone interested in Green Labs. All of our certified labs are subscribed.

The Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) was established in a renovated space in 2009. The SRC features many sustainable elements, such as bamboo walls, recycled cardboard table, recycled glass countertops, a dedicated solar-panel lighting system, that are marked throughout the space with description plagues. The Sustainability Programs Office developed the first tour on the campus's map platform (https://maps.ucsd.edu/map/Default.htm?id=1005#!t/2232:1). Each location includes a description highlighting sustainable features. While in-person, the Sustainability Resource Center, Campus Tours Office and Campus Library offered bookmarks with a QR code linking to the sustainability tour.

Housing*Dining*Hospitality's EcoNaut programming fosters a culture of sustainability for on-campus residents and their residential experience. A green living guide https://hdhsustainability.ucsd.edu/_files/Green-Living-Guide.pdf is posted online. This gives students information about how to live sustainably on campus. Topics and tips include: energy and water conservation, sustainable foods, green cleaning, waste management and recycling procedures, and how to get involved in sustainability on campus. The EcoNauts and H*D*H Sustainability present to all RA/HAs during their summer training, providing an overview of sustainability on campus and in H*D*H, and engaging them in collaborations throughout the academic year to program for their residents.
